Bro. Leatch has been a member of the Mountain Church for over 20 years and became a vibrant addition to the ministry staff on April 1, 2006. He is responsible for making sure that the vision of our church is carried out in every area, both in administration and in ministry. With an uncommon combination of the gifts of leadership,communication and charisma, Bro. Leatch acts as our Pastor's right hand,aiding him in whatever capacity he is needed. He is married to Sis. Patrice R. Leatch.
I was born and raised in Chappell Hill, Texas. I’m single Christian Woman who love the Lord. I became a member of the Mountain Family in 1975 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Here I have grown spiritually and I have grown up. I attended Business College in Houston and majored in accounting. I’ve worked for Mt. Sinai Baptist Church for 31 years. 26 of these years I was Secretary/Administrative Assistant to Dr. S.J. Gilbert Sr. and upon his retirement his son, Dr. Samuel J. Gilbert II became my pastor and my boss. Dr. Gilbert II promoted me to the position of Church Administrator/ Financial Secretary. My duties involve taking care of Church business and some financial matters of the Church. Working for Mt. Sinai Church has been very rewarding and a joyful journey for me. I serve as president of our Ushers Ministry and one of my greatest joys is being a doorkeeper in the House of my Lord. My hobbies are reading, walking/exercising and shopping.
Sis. Pierson has worked for Mount Sinai since 1996 and has been a member since March of 1983. She is responsible for handling administrative concerns of the Pastor including scheduling and maintaining his personal information database. Sis. Pierson has worked as an administrative secretary since 1981. She is a native Houstonian and is married to a wonderful man, Bro. Tom Pierson, for over 20 years. Together, they have three children. Sis. Pierson serves as a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Sanctuary Choir. She enjoys serving the Lord and helping in any area in which she can be a servant to others.
Sis. Dotson united with our church family in October of 2002 and became full time staff member on April 1, 2006. She is responsible for communicating the vision of the Pastor to every leader and overseeing the ministries of the church. Sis. Dotson was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She ia a graduate of Howard University and Dallas Theological Seminary. She is also the Director of our Women's Ministry.
